Pediment Publishing, Cumberland Times-News and Allegany Magazine are proud to announce a new limited-edition book that commemorates a century of making memories in Maryland, Allegany County Fairgrounds: 100 Years.
This hardcover, coffee table-style book will embrace the scheduled and serendipitous events that the county fairgrounds has offered over the past century. Photos taken by the Times-News, the fairgrounds staff, and the community are being carefully chosen to chronicle events. Residents will have memories and photos of families included as well! The book will take you on a photographic stroll down the Fairgrounds’ fairway showcasing historic images of this beloved icon, sharing how it has transformed over the years and proudly serving the community.
“Allegany County Fairgrounds: 100 Years” is a partnership of Allegany County Government, the Allegany County Fairgrounds, the Cumberland Times-News and Allegany Magazine.
Production for this 144-page collector’s book is underway now, with release set for May 24, 2024. Pre-orders are open at Pediment Publishing.
