In 2012, Cincinnati hosted the largest choral competition in the world—the World Choir Games. This was the first time this event had ever been hosted in the United States.

Approximately 15,000 participants from more than 60 countries shared their talents, their cultures and their infectious enthusiasm throughout the region. The community embraced the Games and the singers with unprecedented warmth and hospitality. Memories were made that last a lifetime.
