The Midland Daily News is proud to present a beautiful, hardcover book featuring the first year of the Great Lakes Loons, "Flight of the Loons."

It was a year to remember in Midland and throughout mid-Michigan. The Greak Lakes Loons, a Class A affiliate of the Los Angles Dodgers, were the hit of spring and summer, drawing more than 330,000 fans to Dow Diamond, a $33-million state-of-the-art ballpark located in downtown Midland.
