The tragedy of May 4, 1970, left four Kent State University students dead and nine injured while profoundly changing the campus and America’s view of the Vietnam War.  

Fifty years later, a new 144-page Akron Beacon Journal book featuring freshly curated photos from its Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage will look back at events before, during and after the tragic day.
