My Mother and Father grew up in these parts!. So I can see now what things looked like when they grew up. Good to know some of the thing in the book that I remember them telling us when we were children. Wilburn Hoosier

Love all the pictures and notes on them. It's fun to go downtown and still see some of these buildings standing and how they look today.

My father in law loves all the wonderful pictures, brings back memories. My grand father is the person who designed and made the street plaques that line state street with Tennesse on one side and Virginia on the other. A wonderful gift and great coffee table book!
